MindEdge’s PMP® Exam Prep Course Enhanced for 2011 Update
March 29, 2011
MindEdge has revised and enhanced its PMP® Exam Prep Course (Fourth Edition) to reflect the 2011 update from the Project Management Institute (PMI). The revised MindEdge course will be available beginning in April for those learners planning to take the PMP® after August 31, 2011.
The enhanced MindEdge course will be available on MindEdge Online (www.mindedgeonline.com) and through MindEdge’s extensive network of project management training partners.
PMI has altered some 30% of the examination to acknowledge the changing role of PMP® credential holders, as documented in PMI’s recent role delineation study (RDS). In addition to minor changes to language and assumptions about the responsibilities of project managers, PMI will now be testing the Professional and Social Responsibility content in every domain rather than as a separate domain on the examination.
These changes help the exam to align more realistically with the everyday challenges a project manager faces, and MindEdge’s PMP® Exam Prep Course has been enhanced to reflect these changes. MindEdge is also taking this opportunity to further enhance the course with the following features:
- Two revamped 200-question practice exams covering PMP® Exam content;
- Added video commentary from project management experts who highlight key study areas and offer tips and tricks for understanding complex exam topics;
- An extensive instant-access glossary of vocabulary words and abbreviations;
- Mobile-device study aids (available Fall 2011).
Learners who successfully complete the course will earn 35 Professional Development Units (PDUs) accepted by the Project Management Institute.
