MindEdge Adds Nonprofit Capital Campaigns Course

MindEdge’s new Capital Campaigns course offers learners insights into the tools, techniques, and best practices surrounding running a successful capital campaign within a nonprofit organization.
This self-paced online course will be added to MindEdge’s Certificate in Nonprofit Management and will also be offered on MindEdge Online and through selected training partners.
Capital Campaigns reviews the phases of conducting a capital campaign—evaluation, feasibility study, organization, solicitation, and post-campaign activities—as well as how to avoid common pitfalls in capital campaigns. Expert video commentary, a case study, and vocabulary game will ensure you have a solid grasp of the content for execution in your nonprofit organization.
The course also covers feasibility studies, the role of consultants, campaign solicitation tools like a gift range chart, the different types of leadership teams and committees that may be formed to support a capital campaign, and ways to troubleshoot a stalled capital campaign.
Capital Campaigns is recommended for anyone seeking to gain a basic understanding of nonprofit capital campaigns. The course has no textbooks or prerequisites.
Learners who successfully complete the course can earn 0.5 IACET CEUs.
