Handling Difficult Employee Behavior Course Launched
December 29, 2011
MindEdge has launched Handling Difficult Employee Behavior, an online course designed to prepare managers to deal with troublesome and difficult behavior by employees.
The self-paced course, offered on MindEdge Online and through the company’s training partners, is designed to help managers to address unwanted behavior and to coach and counsel employees. Organizations that deal with difficult employee behavior benefit from greater staff retention, productivity, and teamwork.
Through tools and techniques for positive change, Handling Difficult Employee Behavior focuses on dealing with the unwanted behavior (not on the individual). It includes a six-step model for handling conversations about difficult behaviors and provides practical tips for making those conversations more effective.
At the heart of the course is a focus on the common 12 difficult employee behavioral types, ranging from the Complainer to the Procrastinator to the Needy Employee to the Bully. Learners are exposed to best practices for handling the 12 difficult behaviors and are asked to respond to video scenarios of employees exhibiting these behaviors. Video commentary from experienced Human Resource experts provides guidance.
MindEdge, a learning company based in Waltham, MA, provides leadership, management, communication, and educational solutions to help organizations meet their learning objectives.
